Is this the one from perth? Surely there isn't more than a handful or these 2 door sedans in Australia. What is under the bonnet?

Yeah its in Perth, nothing under the bonnet yet but have A14 twin solex 40mm, oval head with dual springs (camshaft still to be done) & lightened flywheel waiting to go in. Trying to keep it tame.

Perhaps it's just me, being a grumpy old prick, but I am sick of seeing CA and SR conversions everywhere. I like seeing the old A series being given a go. They sound wicked at full noise with webers/solex etc. I don't mind the L series either. It takes a fair bit to destroy them but apparrently it doesn't take much to unhinge a CA or SR!! Go the A banger's.

Come on guys (and girls), who else in Australia has a 2Dr sedan?

The only others I know of are the one Matt has in Adelaide and Micks old one that sold on ebay recently in Qld. That would make yours, by far, the best example in Australia known to date. Unless someone else can come to the party with another.

there was a real nice dark green one with CA in it on cruise years ago.. maybe thats matt.. dunno.

bout 3 years ago i went with a mate to pick up a thou of a guy named dane. he had a bare shell in his yard. was a fair haggard but was planning to get it dipped and done proper if i remember correctly.

Myaz, I paid $500 for it, but covered in surface rust. Just picking away at it when I have the time & money!
Was searching for a coupe when I found it (still kind of prefer the coupe shape)

That green one looks like a 4 door. It has too much rear door glass to be a 2 door.

Don, thanks for the reply, made me feel proud (for a second).
The back half of the car has many minor dents dents & as I plan to track race it I will not get it to the same standard as the front of the car (which has new panels). So there must be better 2Dr sedans out there in OZ, would love to see some Aussie cars or even Kiwi!
