I ended up with a 1:56 which I was happy with but I'd like to get more laps under my belt and get the time down. D, they buggered up but I informed them on the day so all was good. Stu you'll be losing your pregnancy weight in no time!

Picked up an r33 gtr box this arvo to toy around with. The transfer removal takes off 29 kgs! I went to hollinger yesterday and nearly bought one of their boxes... Before they told me it was 20 grand

hey nik, skylines australia forum 400 clams. im confident it will work and fit (with a bit of encouragement) and should be very very strong. Plus if there is something wrong with it in the future i can source another one and use the parts i modify on another cheap box rather than shelling out $1200 plus for an rb25 box which have the same internals. anthony morrow was running an rb25 box behind his z18 on the weekend

Long time no update... House Reno's and shed plans have been sucking all my time and cash! Haven't forgotten the little datto, it's tucked away waiting... Slab for shed is being poured Tuesday week weather permitting...

Anyway this time around while I haven't any great working space im prepping to upgrade the driveline. I've picked up an r200 longnose that will get a gtr lsd and some custom cv shafts using all nissan bits with no shite adapters and new shafts. Also picked up an Fs5r30a gearbox commonly found behind rb25/26 and vg30dett but this was a little secret a gearbox guy let me in on which saved me heaps!... Rwd box that I'll get a cut and shut bellhousing done to make it ready for action.

Can I upload pics straight from my phone or do I need to dump them somewhere first?

That is one hell of a gearbox man. Must be searching for some serious power?
You may have to resize the photos before uploading from your phone

Oh yeah, ls2 coils haha

Its not that serious, kind of the next step from the 71c box that isn't up to the task reliably any more. Looking forward to having faith in the driveline, probs need a clutch next still running the old cushion button extreme.

Well i sure dont spend the time i used to on my datto but i have kept it stashed away while i play with house and shed stuff. it wont be done quickly but im starting to work on little bits and pieces again, using parts ive stashed away for years. ill post some pics up soon but the first step is fitting the r32 GTR centre into my r200 longnose. this is a bonus in one way because it means i can use the beefy gtr cv inners and input splines. doubt ill ever be busting them! they are 30 spline i think.

Anyway my first task after some measuring and checking is to make up some sleeves to allow me to put the old crownwheel onto the new centre. the gtr uses m13 and the crownwheel is m10....
