Hey all :D

Well i finally have a log in so i thought i'd start a thread about my car. I have owned it for just over a year and when i bought it it was a complete auto stocker. Having done a fair few turbo datsun conversions i thought this time i would do everything the way i wanted the first time rather than rushing. i did all the work myself with the help of mates except for the tuning, most of it done in my carport :(

anyway some specs...

1970 datsun 1600 sedan
red top sr20det
maddat manifold, jap spec t28bb, wolf 3d v4 ecu

stock interior, wheels (widened) and hubcaps

home made coilovers with two spot sumitomo's slotted disks 255lb springs koni yellows and cusco tops

I did the conversion in about three months to get it to datnats, i am now working on 'fine tuning' things like installing the five stud conversion i've been working on with bigger brakes and a short nosed r200 LSD. I will be attempting to make this r200 short nosed LSD rear end for sale on a changeover basis.

how do i post pics? where do i upload them to?

well there you go, i remember both you guys. the manual pedal box is in this car now as it used to be auto.

So ryan you now own scott's 1600?

there are many more plans for this car, i had to get it to datnats so i left the suspension and brakes to just a set of coilovers with slotted 240k disks and twin spot calipers.

the plans are for a five stud conversion with r33 gtst brakes and an r32 gtr short nosed diff. i have all the bits and am slowly working through getting them on the car.

i also plan on doing something powerwise but not set on what turbo to upgrade to yet.

for anyone interested i'll be racing in a club day with the skylines australia club on the long weekend sunday at sandown. a mate of mine will have his ca18 turbo 1200 there as well.
