Hi there Ozdat users; I am Josh and this is the Killa6 project that myself and my friend Jason are currently working on (we both use this username). We started off with both a 180B and a 200B (which has been in Jason's family since it was brand new).

The original plan for project Killa6! was to take the engine out from the 200B (more on that engine later) and to put it into the 180B...however after inspecting the 180B for a good while; we had found that rust had taken its toll on the poor little thing :(
So Project Killa6! will now be remaining as a 200B.

------------------
The 200B features:
------------------
L20B
Custom Cam (unknown specs)
Flat-Top Pistons (5thou oversized)
40mm down-draught Webber Carb
Extractors
Custom Hand-Made SS exhaust

------------------
The plan (for now)
------------------
Regrind Cam
17" alloys
R31 front brake setup
Either keeping the single 40mm carb or ugrading to 45mm...or possibly changing to a Dual-Carb setup
Electroniz dizzy upgrade
New Heavy-Duty clutch
And just a general tidy up of the car

----------
The future
----------
A Respray (once we can afford it)
--------------------------------

And now for the pics :D

The 180B that project Killa6! was originally going to be based on...

...until we found this...

...and this

...so the decision was made to go with the 200B instead...

Looking really sad :(

After we pulled it out of the grass :D

And last but not least; Mechanic Kitteh! Our project manager.

Let us know what you think of our plans :)
We need help choosing what wheels to get....and what colour to respray the car.
Also; because were both 18 year olds; we are building this car on a budget, so if you have any spare parts we may be interested in feel free to let us know :)

Wow, I thought my 200B looked a bit rough when I got it! I'm impressed you plan to save her. Any idea how the car ended up so banged up?

My cats sometimes come and help me when I'm working on my car, but this genreally involves sleeping in the car or getting in the way of what I'm trying to do whilst they try to investigate something. So if you can get any help out of yours, you're doing better than I am.

most of its visual issues are surface issues, and the car is in much better shape then it seems, the rear damage was done by the old man after he had it fixed from its only accident which almost saw it written off... and then my brother got his hands on it, tried to kill it, failed then stole random parts for his 240k coupe project.

im gonna save it, its very nostalgic for me (im jason, :giggle: ) ive got all its paperwork, all its reciepts and god knows what else. its a solid car that with a bit of tlc and some cash will be very awesome when finished.

Good to see another 200B getting dusted off. You certainly do have your work cut out for you though.
Where abouts are you located?

oh and a latest edition we now have twin SU's! from a good running SSS
and some new rims front and rear, although the fronts that match the rears are gonna have to wait till we get spacers because they foul on the strut...
and the car doesn't look so sad now, its moving, slowly but surely.

Also found its original owners manuals keys and number plates!
WIN!!!

Good luck with the project!

And where are you guys located, both myself and green200B have heaps of 200B spares and I know green200B probably needs to get rid of some of his parts.

I may also have a few cola coloured panels that are less rusty and straight, and would match what's left of your paintwork.

And if you need a running L20B, I also have a spare.

Photo time :D
We fitted some 17" Momo wheels both front and rear, only to find that the front wheels foul against the strut...so in the mean time we have some wheels from a R31 skyline silhouette on the front (until we get some spacers)

What an interesting build. Although I find the name troubling.
Any updates on this?

A blast from the past thread!

I think I gave these guys some parts years ago, although I have no idea what happened to the car after that.
