Hi, I'm Tim, from Sydney, This is my finished 1600 project.

After having a stock rusty L20B powered 1600, (which I sold september 2008).
Early 2006 I decided it was time to find a 1600 and to drop an SR20 in it.
September 2007 I found one good enough to do the conversion, 1.5 years of searching paid off.
I found a honey mustard 1972 1600, stock as a rock few little parking dings, few spots of surface rust but thats all.
Of all places I found it in melbourne, so i had it freighted up. Thanks Neil!

Nice work :D although out of curiosity, why a white engine bay? Also, how do you find the radiator cools the engine? Can it keep up with it?

Get some smaller brakes and run your hubcaps

Thanks for all the comments, it does get a bit hot, sitting in traffic and when it is hot(weather wise), just got to be careful, gonna try and put another fan on the radiator see how that goes.
Nah stuff downgrading. Originally painted the bay white as i wanted to get the car resprayed in white, but, to be honest the color has grown on me a lot, might just keep it for a while.
Just gotta thank everyone who was involved helping to get the car finished, i couldnt have done it without them!!

Go the Datto!!

Quick update, had the car dyno'd and had my tune finished off yesterday, reason why it wasnt finished in the first place was that my diff blew up on the dyno last time, spose thats what u get when u pay 100 bucks for an open wheel r200.
So now with the lsd r200 in i made 213.7kw or 286 hp atw, quite happy with the results :D
