Hey I would love the manual box. But at the moment I have one door, a primer bonnet, no rear bumper, no tail lights and all the beaver panel is stripped or covered in KBS rust seal. When the car is back together I will consider the conversion.

not to mention while still on my p's I have to resit the test in a manual car to be legal.

Saradiel are you a 200b owner to? Your very local we could have cruise some time.

My main concern is this. Probably leave this to pro as im only learning to weld.

OK this was a little experiment. That went horribly well.
I had heard of people using fibre glass mesh with KBS rust seal to patch holes. So gave it a shot on this hole on behind my bumper. It is strong like steel. But dont worry its only temporary till i can weld. i figure its better than the rust spreading. i didnt mean for it to get on the tow bar but it did.

This isnt the worst door but a close second

This was second best!

ok update.
My zl decided after years of guzzling petrol it didnt want any more. When i went to fill up the petrol came out quicker than it went in. So in a very bad mood i drove home and decided the datsun was required.

I also went a little mad beacause ive just spent a grand on maitenance stuff on the zl. So i called the datsun the hammer cause its so reliable. Actually its new name is "the sledgehammer"

thanks to Green200b i have to new doors. They are odd colours but at the moment i dont care. I finshed my drivers door and i think i did a good job for a first time. My bonnet is done but needs paint. So the Sledgehammer is back anyway and boy did i miss it!

Been a while but I'm still driving the beige beast. Albeit not as often as I'd like.
