No appears to be a wiring gremlin . Once the car is driven a bit it stops charging and the oil light comes on. Which my wagon did last year when a wire behind its new alternator burnt out. I have found the suspect wire. Which i will replace.

Why the Weber over the sus? I'm glad this is still going.

Did you fix the charging problem?
I would scrap the SUs and Weber. Lot of fuel wasted.

Fewer issues, more power, only one carbie. Plus bragging rights for having a Weber.

You certainly don't like using fuel DaTerry, I've seen you ask several questions relating to fuel economy haha. Do you just hate having to buy it? Or are you a man who is interested in originality?

Given fuel prices at the moment I'm loving my twin Weber powered L20B!

Not to worried about fuel prices DaTerry. I’d be lucky to use a tank a year in the 200B and my daily a FJ60 so I observe fuel expenses as part of my hobby.
My 200B is safely stored away at the moment. But I’m hoping to get into it soon.

Not really no. It's in storage at my mums and it's safe. I have plans to resurrect it at some point. Probably in 2024 as I celebrate 20 years ownership.
I pay the Club Permit and that's about it. I do miss having it around.

20 years is a good run, its nice that its been kept even though your not using it right now.

Finally an actual update.
Mum handed the Datsun an eviction notice and I brought it home. First time i have had all my cars in one place I think.
Despite been in the garage since 2020 it fired straight up with a new battery. But the old battery surprisingly is charged now and holding. A new set of tyres and some fresh fuel and maybe I will be out Datsun driving again soon.
