Hi all I'm new to the forum
As of today I finally got one of my 1600s in the shed after collecting for the past 12 years (I was 10 when I brought my first 1600) The plan of the project is to restore it back to original as I also found out today that it still has the original engine and I'm a strong believer of if it can be original keep it original!! with any luck it will be finish within 12-18 months in time for my wedding so long as I keep the old man under pressure. Of course over the build I'm going to find that there are parts that I don't have so hopefully some of you guys will be able to help me out with that.

If there's anyone in SA with one restored back to original or close to it would be muchly appreciated if I can come to inspect it as these cars are before my time and photos only show you so much.

I will keep you guys posted as the project comes along

Thanks

You are most welcome to come have a look at 2 possibly 3 restored, not necessarily to original (modified) , also ask questions and i have various spares you may need or want. Where about's are you located in SA.

Thanks wnw-244
I live in Murray bridge about an hour from Adelaide, where abouts are you located? At this stage the main thing I'm after is a decent bonnet as the one Iv got is repairable but a bit of a challenge haha, later on I'm going to need interior bits and pieces and probably need to replace quite a bit under bonnet but I won't know until I get up to that stage

My numbers 0438976085 if you want to just msg me on that, I'm going to be in Adelaide Thursday but whether I'll have time to get by and see you depends what time I finish work during the day, otherwise I'll come down the next weekend I get free, cheers
