1970 Datsun 1600

SR20DET S14 black top
T28 tubro
front mount
R32 Front brakes with 4 pot callipers
R180 diff.

A lot of Datsport gear has been used for the conversion. Now looking to give it a tidy up.

Starting with the engine bay and the wiring. Removal of the S14 install AC unit too.

Coil overs front and rear if I can find some good feed back.

Haven't driven the car for a few months. Went to take it out and found a problem with the brakes.

So when I press the brakes I hear a hissing and the engine revs drop. Any ideas?

File comment: Currently having some issues with the brakes hissing and I've traced it back to the booster leaking air or vacuum? Any ideas on rebuild kits or to just replace ?

I have an S13 heater unit and blower in mine and it is fantastic with the digital climate control. Having said, I'd like to fix the little things with my install up too.
I'll admit that whoever installed that one did a fairly average job. Once you fix up the vents, and add a cover over the blower motor on the passenger's side, it won't look as bad and will probably be better than the original!
