Update

I just got back from the engineers and garret turbos in Somerton.

The GTIR Quad throttle bodies air box set up is nearly finish I have some pregress pics but my pc is kinda non exsistant so stand by while I get it sorted.

and the GTIR T28 has been stripped down and inspecting as I speak but they say it doesn look too bad throw in new seals reset the tolerance on the main shaft and they recon it will be good .

so hopefully will engine back to gether with the new turbo and inlet and it will ready and waiting for the return of the shell from the Panel Beaters.

Progress on painting is still slow keeps getting put on the back burner but atleast something is getting done finally

I got some pics of it aswell

keep you all imformed.

====UPDATE====

Hi Guys I know it has been awhile since there was an update but I thought I would let you all know what is happening

Obviously the car will not be able to make it to the Nationals I will be there of course.

The car is still at the Panel Beaters and progress has been made.

New Rust repair sections have been cut and fitted to the rear gaurds and I have front gaurd repair sections coming next weekend.

I'm chasing up a Aprim (Stone Tray) for it so if any one can help me let me know.

I have got a Brand new Turbo for the SR and the GTIR Throttle Bodies are completed to suit North/South Engine.

I will be fitting them to the motor next weekend I have progress pics coming for it and will be posted next week.

A new Radiator Support panel is being fitted with the new Intercooler mounts welded on aswell.

I have found some minor un expected things which I am glad pulling it off the road.

I have also arrange a sun Roof being fitted to the Datto aswell.

Keep and eye out as you will be seeing pics with the new inlet and Turbo fitted next week.

See you all at the Nationals

Time for an update

There has been steady progress with the datto. All the braking system is done. Wiring is complete. Interior is slowly coming together. I still have to finish the fuel system off. Steering is all replaced and adjusted. I have fitted the motor and intercooler is mounted.

Unforuntately funds have gone dry due to bills so the build has come to a holt for a little bit I'll attach some progress pics for every one.
