u need to find that sweet spot with filling it up. I find with the old filler necks around have the pump nosil half way out and it will fill completely with out stopping.

The new set up will hopefully make even easier, but also include the unleaded flap aswell which will minimise splash back aswell. The filler neck upgrade should be completed by the end of week and tested. will let you all know.

Afternoon Guys and Gals,

Time for another update from yours truly. Well intercooler piping is getting all welded during the week which means next week she will be on the road doing some shake down driving and testing (Hopefully). Fuel neck has been completed and is great to fill up with. Still get minor Fuel Smell in the car but in saying that no leaks. I have to organise tyres for the wheels and they will be fitted. Interior is just about completed. with Carpet coming soon. Alarm system and central locking is wired along with the stereo. The list is getting smaller and hopefully I will be able to say it is close to completion.

I will be taking more pictures during the week will upload later this week for everyone too see.

have a good weekend

Well team It is safe to announce,

The datto has had its first voyage since this rebuilt. I happy to say no major issues. Drove well. no squeeks or rattles.

hopefully I'll have money so I can fit me wheels on and do some minor finishing off and hopefully I will have pictures to show.

Otherwise no real changes

Nice pics!
Lovin' the old school wheels...

Mine is up on stands again, as I am carrying out the 'sound deadening' maintenance, and general quietening down of a few things. (diff, firewall and fuel pump). Fuel pump is done, now the diff and firewall!
How's yours go with the noise?
