Yeah it's awesome Damo (STYX16) on here hand makes each one as well as running and organizing the show. It's a real credit to him.

Got valve stem seals done on the weekend for something I've been putting off for so long was piece of pi$$ to do. Used the old rope method of holding the valves in worked plus now there's no more smoke at idle win! Also finished off the hard lines for the flex fuel sensor will go for another tune when Im on holidays in February.

Awesome Stu. I bet you are happy it's all done. Looks pretty clean in there. What kind of oil are you using?

Yeah my mate who built the engine commented on that put it down to his fine skills haha. Been using Nulon 15/50 full synthetic since going to E85 it's good stuff.

Drove to work the other day and left it idling while I opened up the workshop BOOM starting smoking again F#$%! Did a comp test 160 across all 4 checked catch can not a drop in it so suspect oil seal in turbo gone. Will pull dump pipe off on the weekend and acess.

Hopefully the turbo is cactus Stu. It's an easy change instead of ripping the engine apart...

Yeah will see if it is the turbo I cant really afford to replace it with what I want at the moment (gen 2
gtx2660) So may just get seals and bushes put through it for now.

Well after much thought and procrastination over what I want to do with the car Ive ended up buying a mint gt2560 aka S15 roller turbo off a mate. It's never going to make all the power in the world but hopefully get into the 200rwkw's also upgrading the cooler at the same time so will be interesting to see how it go's.

Did you find out what was causing the issue? Did it end up being the turbo?

Yeah looks like it is the turbo mate so hopefully this will solve all the issues. With the boost in power a bonus pretty confident the S15BB will deliver what I want would be nice to have a new gen 2 gtx but 200rwkw in a 120y should be plenty

Stu how about roller rockers from an NA20E? they cam in the Nissan Crew, Caravan and Navara in japan
Im sure they will let you rev to 11900rpm

but honestly they are a sweet design and supposedly improve economy yet use the same valve layout
angles and manifolds as the Z20e engines.
