Funny you say that Al as I know own a y wagon as well haha. Yeah leaning towards the factory gauges as there pretty cool looking and rare so would be a shame not to use them.

Just basically followed the directions on the can mate gave everything a good wash with hot soapy water and a new nylon nail brush. After it was dry gave everything a wipe down with prepsol then painted 2 light coats and one wet coat was actually surprised how well they came up and you don't loose any of the texture on the dash either.

Ended up getting the interior finished for Melbourne datto day last Sunday. Was a great day and was good to drive the y again after a 8 month break  . Will take it to classic japan next week as well.

unlike yourself I liked them ever since they came out but loved them more after seeing them as sports sedans
and the L series versions from Japan along with Furys FJ24DE which Jason maybe still owns here.

This example of a GX coupe is definitely the best street 120y coupe in Oz

Well sold the wagon over the weekend so can now solely concentrate on the sedan and other things for a few years. Planning on getting the flex fuel sensor sorted soon so I can drive more than 200km to a tank Ive also kept the 13x7 starsharks going to see how they fit for a different look and may go fender mirrors too.
