Heya!
Ive been having a look around at what people have done with their stanzas, and i thought id better chuck mine on here since ive got a couple. Ive currently got two, a 78' streeter and 81' junior speedway sedan. The racecar was pretty schmicko at the start of the season, but after a few races and a title shes starting to show some wear. Race cars are only show cars once you know!

Ive also recently acquired a 78' ex motorkhana/daily driver from NSW. Appropriately i suppose, its blue  Its in fairly good condition, compared to what ive seen anyways (the tropics plays havoc with rust!) with minimal rust. A few bubbles at the bottom of the doors and you can almost put your foot through the boot! Apart from that, its alright considering its about 17 years older than me :) A few dings here and there... Its got a very mildly worked engine (mild cam, extractors, 2" exhaust, and flat top pistons apparently  ) and its even got a monza racing seat with 4 point harness! haha. Got future plans for it in the holidays, go nice and low key with bright yellow paint job with black blackouts :P Replace the bushes and shocks and a slight drop in hieght (hopefully around the 2 inch mark :) ).

Anyways, if i can figure out how, ill chuck some photos up!

Sick Stanza!

In regards to the interior, get an air compressor and a high flow nozzle and blow all that dust outta there. Get some damp rags and paper towels and go wipe over the whole thing. It'll come up schmicko.

I tell you what, I'm yet to have 1 person in my Bluey that has still said it's a sh*t car after sitting in it. A little bit of detail can go a long way ;)

Also, update, primed the doors, bonnet and front fascia panel today, and will splash some yellow on there tomorrow. After that, only need to repair the guards and my spoiler/boot, paint them and then clear coat the entire car, yeww!

Also, dattoholic, ill be moving down to your neck of the woods mid january next year for uni. Nice to see someone else with a stanza, all i get is confused looks from people when I tell them what i drive hahaha.

And i forgot! The 5 speed bluey box is in! Front calipers and clutch slave cylinder are reconditioned $600 later >:( ....
Electrical is all sorted, mechanical is sorted except for making a stopper for the clutch (if you push it too far it loads up the clutch and doesnt disengage).
So... all theres left to do is wet sand it, clear it, buff it and slap it back together :)
