Good to hear and thanks for the offer. I will no doubt be asking you some questions over the next couple of years hehe.

Got some more in this weekend.

A cracked screen ffs, a bit of rust and both A-pillar trims brittle are busted. Looks like a proper wreck without the front screen in haha.

Removed everything bar the headlining from the interior, front wiring harness and front brake lines. Disconnected the rear brake line and the handbrake cable from the diff.

Finished removing the sound deadener yesterday using a scraper and hairdryer. Got about 80% off using dry ice the weekend before. I read about putting dry ice in a snap lock bag after I did it which would have been good for the non flat parts. Scraper and hairdryer wasn't too bad and I'll do fine in the boot with the 3 patches in there. Also took the diff and rear suspension out yesterday. Took the fuel tank and lines out today.

After what feels like ages it's in the rotisserie. Well before Christmas I bought two 905kg engine stands from Bogart Industries on eBay with this in mind. I didn't want to buy one for 1k, and making it from scratch the cost, both in $$$ and time would have been too great. I saw a post on a forum from the states where a dude had bought two engine stands from Harbor Freight and modified them into a rotisserie. I'll copy that idea thank you. I then bought some steel and ordered a welder. Ended up with a Token Tools MIG210D. Pete was awesome to deal with and I highly recommend them for product and customer service. I also went to Gasweld and got a 75/25 bottle and regulator. Great guys out there too especially the dude with the Chevelle. I tried MIG'ing the 5mm plate and tube together but the .6mm wire I don't think was up to it. Might also be a complete lack of MIG welding skill on my part too. Switched it over to MMA and played with the amps and it welds great. I rotated it 90 degrees and it catches on the doors, so with doors off it should go 360. I still need to strip the sound deadening out of the boot and paint strip the engine bay before it gets doors and guards off.

Wire wheel and paint stripping this weekend. Took the boot lid off and headlining out too. Had the wire wheels on a 14.4 cordless and on a Aldi air drill. Both werent too bad but I think I will invest in one for the grinder before doing the underside. Dropped it onto the rear drivers quarter too when I was spinning the stands around. The body was fouling on the stands. Now it goes 180 degrees with about an inch to spare.
