Bought another stanza today.
As i have moved to melbourne and am not driving as much anymore, i have decided to sell my V35 skyline and drive a datto daily once again!
Plans are to get it registered and then sell the V35.
Will eventually get the parts from my red stanza, (sss dash, venetians, sss 5-speed, L18 twin 40mm webers, exhaust system.)
At the moment its pretty stock, L16 Auto, missing a couple of small bits here and there (i have most of them).
The paint is pretty decent for its age, although it does need a bit of love and theres a bit of rust on a couple of the doors.

Did a bit of work in the last week, its now roadworthy.





Drives really smoothly actually!

New rear section of exhaust bent up and welded on to fix rust



these are the old struts, swapped them with the oens from my red stanza (lowered springs and new shocks) because i needed new shocks for roadworthy)



Got some coilovers for the front sorted now,



Going to upgrade brakes just for the hell of it.

Looked funny as with the low springs in front and standard in rear!



Pretty happy with this car, will do me well in melbourne i think. Will eventually get L18 with 5-speed and twin webers and then eventually (few years) SR20det for ultimate sleeper look.

Yep

Plans at the moment (always changing though):
Headunit (in glovebox, or mini amp with aux or both)
Speakers are already in kick panels
Hilux brakes with vented/slotted/drilled rotors in the front (should lift the rear wheels up when i brake!)
sort out rear suspension, from red car (kings, new shocks)
Full service (oils, filters, plugs etc)
sort out temp/fuel guage... its not the fuse im thinking it could be the cluster i have a few spares so should be able to work it out...
Replace bog warmer with H165 so i have a better choice of centres and easier to change over etc. (possibly H190 gazelle diff eventually)
Would love to go sr20det with this car as its a perfect sleeper.... No time soon though!

Vented brakes, they are massive!! Just need to sort out rotors.. Obviously i will be rebuilding the brakes aswell.
Cusco strut tops came in the mail also!

Yay brakes. Bring on modded stanzas. They might actually be cool (except for the square light ones eewwwww)
