i have been watching your progress because i wish to do a conversion like this.

Has there been many problems besides gearbox crossmember not lining up?

What size is that intercooler? looks like it will fit behind the grill without any cutting.

as for mod's the only mod was for teh gear box x/member

the cooler is a core size of 600x300x76.
it fits in real tight between the lights.. it didnt before.

we had to modify the head light bracket,

but nothing to drastice. a 450 x 300x 600 would go in piece of cake.

atm in the lovely process of wiring it all up and finishing of the exhaust..

dam 3" stainless bends are expensive :O

tail shaft had to get cut buy bout 15 cm's ill get measurements later.

im putting volkswagon 290mm vented rotors on with the r31 cailpers
gona pull up nice :) ill hvae more pics of the rest very soon :D

Thats looks sweet :D . I will de doing the same conversion to my 160J [stanza]. Did you have any clearance issues regarding the clutch master cylinder location? I have a RHD stanza and can foresee some clearance problems in that the clutch master cylinder will be hitting/foulingthe CA18DET inlet manifold. Any tips or close ups of your set up.

did you come accross any problems when putting in the r31 struts? what did you take into account when doing the r31strut/brake upgrade? what did you do for the suspension/brakes of the rear of the car?

this is very impressive.

hey, yeah i didnt end up puting in teh skyline struts
i just adapted teh skyline calipers to teh strut and fitted them with volkswagon 290mm vented rotors.

but yeah. its all painted and running now. just gotta get wheels made to suit teh stanza's rare offset lol

heres some pics :)

[ img ]

[ img ]

we hung teh doors up by the hinges so that we wouldnt have to handle them at all. works wonders haha

[ img ]

[ img ]

gotta get some pics of it when its in teh sun. it goes mental haha

enjoy guy's!!
