Hi guys,
just found your forum and been reading some of your posts with great interest

I have a '74 240K GT which was, up until last week, in excellent original condition...

...then after having it on the road for just 3 weeks, some idiot ran into the back of it at a junction causing quite a bit of damage to the rear end.
And then, later in the week, whilst the car was outside my house waiting for the insurance assessor to look at the damage, my neighbour managed to hit the driver's door.

We think there's only 3 of these cars left in the UK now and spare parts are non-existant, so I am wondering if any of you have any spares (new or used, even in rough condition) or a rough looking, complete car that I could bring over to break (i can guarantee that every single useable nut, bolt and part will be saved)
Any help with parts or useful contacts would be gratefully received.

That is such a shame! Bad luck :(

Someone on here will have something...240Ks out here are either worth quite a bit or almost nothing, so I really hope that someone can help you out.

I bet you could still order new panels from Nissan Japan.

I do know where one of these is rusting in peace in someones front yard.

Thanks for your comments. Yes, I am gutted, but the car will definately be repaired... how long it will take is another question!

My local Nissan dealer has kindly got out the old microfiche slides and found all the part numbers... sadly he reports that none of the parts have been available for years.

If you think the one that's resting (or was that rusting) in the yard might like to donate any parts to keep/restore another to good order then please do let me know as parts are unobtainable here in UK.
I am hoping for a fair amount in compensation from the insurance company as the accident was not my fault, so any proceeds from that will be going towards repairs and spare parts to get the old girl back into tip-top shape

I might stop by and have a look at it on the weekend and see if they want to part with it.

gt's are 2 & 4 door

Our GL,s are just re badged GT's All the 6 Cylinder C110's are really just GT's. They were re-badged as GL's in Australia (after the first load of 2 door GT's) so Nissan could distance themselves from the anti GT movement in the 70's. In the UK/Europe/Middle East/Japan (Africa, if they were sold there) they were badged as GT.

The four doors are worth more than the coupes in the middle east.

The car is a 4 door it's not wrecked, just never moves and has no plates, a bit like my 4 door. Coupe rear parts wouldn't fit on a sedan either.
