That's fantastic, I would just leave it how it is.

That is an amazing find, and worth a fair bit of money too! much cooler then a 1600! whether you modify it or not just make sure you look after it and do things properly!

I vote convert it to manual, it will feel much more responsive and be more enjoyable to drive IMO worth doing even if you leave everything else the way it is

or just leave it as is a beaut original example of nissan luxury motoring. You could grow a mo to match its era.

I intend to keep it exactly as it is, I had the A/C re - gassed tonight ( $50.00 not bad eh  ) and it works a treat. Going to a car show in it on Sunday. It is lovely to drive and being a straight 6 it can move a bit if needed, but i just take it easy, it is too nice to fly along. Thanks for the comments, its nice to see what other Datsun owners think of it. I have always had a soft spot for Datsuns seeing as my first car was a Datsun Violet, which ended up full of red lead paint :giggle:

Beautiful, and as said before way cooler than a 1600!

Where did you find this car and how much did it set you back?

Thanks,
