I was given a mint 240k sedan by my Grandfather when I got my license. I thought it was a cool car at the time but ended up parting ways with it a few years later when they where worth absolutely nothing  Anyway roll forward about 15 years and my grandfather passed away, got me thinking I would really like to get one again. Oh dear, never expected to have so much trouble finding one and then the price. Granddad must have been smiling down and decided to help and after much searching I found one, two, three and four. Two absolute parts only vehicles and two glamours. I wake up each morning, look in the garage and smile.

Good work Cam,
You just made it that little bit harder for others desperately trying to find one
Lucky I've got one already

They look real nice.

I think 240k's are like olives or anchovies, an acquired taste but they are some very clean examples.
Noice.

How in the hell did you get so lucky? And what did you pay for them?

My wife tells me that my searching was/is relentless and obsessive. I am not sure if it is a compliment or she is worried? Anyway I think it's all luck and being or putting yourself in the right place at the right time. What the cost is the million dollar question. :chaching: I totally agree with the comment about being not everyone taste. I love both olives and anchovies.

Picked up another parts car last weekend. Pretty rough but still lots of good parts to save. Hard to move though with no front struts. Anyone know of the cheapest struts I could jam in there so I can fit front wheels? Tried to put up a pic but not letting me at the moment.

Nice cars Cam. I recall seeing your white car at the all Jap Day it was one tidy car. I hope to catch up at the next show and have a chat to get some hints from what you have gone through.

That car looks super tidy every time I look at it. Do you have any hints for parts and panel repairs?

Not super tidy close up. It has not been restored so it has some minor rust and paint issues but not enough to worry me yet. Best bet is to be there at exactly the moment when someone brings it out of 20 year storage. Good luck.
