Hey dudes,

old ozdat member returning with a couple of relics :D

First up is my 1964 Nissan Cedric Sedan Deluxe.

Unregistered since 1973. Its been kickin about in various car collections over the years and now I've been lucky enough to own it now for over 12 months. Its really a pleasure to be one of the caretakers of this beautiful car.

The car was resprayed some years ago (approx 11) but only for cosmetic reasons to freshen up the paint. The car is unrestored with 40K miles showing.

Anyway hope you guys enjoy the pics and will take some better ones next time I get it out.

Second up is my 1965 Nissan Cedric 8 Seater Wagon (WP31)

Such a rad car!

I'm slowly getting all the electrics to work again. Its missing the factory radio but everything else seems to be there. Little bit of rust in this one but nothing major.

Again I'll get some better pics up soon.

Awesome cars, Graeme from the SDC would be loving these.

Was that wagon on ebay about a year ago?

Great to see they are being looked after. Would love to see some detailed photos and pics of some of the kooky features these cars came with

Hi FJ,

I believe Graham owns one of my old Cedric's, the '63 2 tone blue and white sedan. I had that and a 65 green sedan which I had to sell because I had no room for them at the time :( Its great to see that at least one of them has ended up with an enthusiast.

I did buy the wagon off ebay last year. It was listed twice, the first time was passed in, I didn't have any spare cash at the time so I didn't bid and was gutted but I grabbed it at the second opportunity some months later.

Yes, I've still got the other 2 Cedrics. I've done nothing with them as yet, except stick them in the shed.
The third one I own is a real nice original piece.

I still have plans for the others. The blue one really needs a VH45

Nice cars CD, you obviously admire the style, it's wonderfull to see old cars (or any sort of machinery ) so origonal. I remember cruising around in a mate's Cedric 20 odd years ago the same as the sedan. Like Valiant's (Chargers very much so as well) they were not very valued, you could buy a real good one literally for a few hundred dollars. Good on you mate, most people don't realize that it costs to actually store or keep a vehicle.

I see they are unregistered, do you get to drive them at all? I must admit, my 260 C gets driven about once every 12-18 months at the moment, though I love driving it, it's like dribing a marshmallow on wheels.

I remember the flag next to the Argentine one being a state there? Was there so long ago but saw no Cedrics there :D
Lotsa Ford Model T and cute little 2CVs though

I'm restoring my 65 g31 sedan right now... originally looked just like your sedan, except LHD from Canada. The bodywork is almost finished, got the green metallic paint standing by....

Anyone down there got a spare exhaust manifold? hubcaps? Mine are cracked or rust.
