That's the non-deluxe radio there, without the auto-seek function.

What gearbox is in the sedan you picked up?

Doesn't matter what the auto is, I'm not interested haha. Just looking for four speed manuals with the column shift.

That's the switch for a power aerial. If the aerial works, that's a win. Most of them **** up. I found a working one for my car and love it (as it is a daily driver)

I've seen both on sedans & coupes, my guess is that they are from different series of the 230 (months and years), or perhaps trim choices, rather than trim levels - if that makes sense.

Trim choices I think too.

the reason i said trhe sedan is a delux is i found broken badges next to the car in the metal yard that said 240c and a rectangle one saying delux, the owners book in the car is giving nothing away its not even filled out with the buyers details or car yard details,is there info on the complience plate that can tell you what it is?

dam it, is there some kind of contraception you can get for these things, they seem to like it here and have started to breed,iv now got 2 more of them a brown 260c deluxe and a green 260c gl.the brown 1 i got from a wrecking yard in Brisbane for very little and its actually the 1st Cedric iv properly driven on the road and its a rocket ship,it had no trouble climbing the range and burning past cars,ha ha the brakes are gr8,it got its original engine and owners books and is an auto, the green one came from a deceased estate with 47,000 original miles on the clock,is an auto, owners books and complete service history, every thing works now, replaced the drivers front and rear power window motors and again the brakes are stuffed but iv replaced them all with new cylinders and the fronts work good but the rears don't work at all,so iv got to sort that thing on the rear system, bleed it and that did nothing so may need a new 1 as well, got a master kit to put through the master cylinder, see what happens next these 2 are both h 230s
