I bought this a while ago from an old couple in Tamworth. They are the original owners and it was in pretty tidy condition.

I drove it from Tamworth to Sydney and left it in storage for a few weeks whilei went back to NZ for a while.
On my return, 4 of us drove to orange for a wedding and back to sydney, then i drove it back to mackay.
About 2800kms so far!

The engine runs like a dream, didnt burn any oil or lose any water, bit of a leak at the rear of the motor, im hoping its a rocker cover gasket. Its only 3 speed so at 100kmh on the highway its doing about 3450rpm. The speedo is pretty optimistic however. Its reading about 18% too fast so the total milage on the car is only 130,000kms

The alternator failed while in Orange, but found one at a wreckers and we were back on the road in a short time.

Also had a bad fuel smell when going round left hand corners. Discovered it was caused by a previous repair to the right rear panel and the sealant around the filler had not been put back on. $20 at supercheap- cheap screwdriver set and some sikaflex and it was cured.

And i lost a bloody hubcap! The roads in qld are really sh*t. I drove through rural nsw for nearly 2000kms with no trouble, as soon as i hit qld the roads turned to sh*t and i lost a hubcap between a petrol station in the middle of nowhere and another petrol station in the middle of nowhere

Currently sitting in my yard in Mackay. Need to locate a shed to store it and work on my other car, we have been looking for suitable house with shed to rent but it bloody expensive up here!

Not sure what i want to do with it yet.
-It needs some minor panel repairs to the front left corner and rear left quarter.
-The windscreen has been replaced without the seal, just sikaflex and the trim has just been stuck to the glue so i would like to replace that
-Dash has a few big cracks. I have found a new one, but its a bit expensive
-Repair the front bumper, i hit a kangaroo at 3am in the middle of nowhere which brings me to the next bit
-Work on the front brakes as it pulls to the right pretty hard
-Remove the towbar and rear bumper. Its had a big hit up the bum at some stage and there is a fair bit of damage to the bumper, and steel in front of it
-Maybe fit a 4 speed box and change the diff from the current 4.11 to a 3.7 or similar for better cruising

Sweet, the windscreen guy glued mine in, and used little rubber spacer blocks between body and glass, then the stainless trims clip onto little metal clips that push onto the body as per factory

I have a front and rear bumper, RH rear tailight (for sedan) and a RH front headlight surround (brand new) for a 230, free to a good home. Please, somebody take them :ohplease:

Located in Brighton East, Vic... So a long way from Mackay.

Just looked at the pic of the wagon again and it seems the rear bumper is different, so bumper to suit sedan only.

Yea, i think it has been done correctly, just by a butcher. I thought they were supposed to have the rubber seal like the 130's

A couple of people have contacted me offline re. the 230 bumpers. When I get a chance I'll post up a couple of pics.

I did some investigating on my brakes and i have these brakes. (stole the photo from daves thread)

I have a disc brake front end lying around that has dunlop calipers on it. I think its from a late 130 series. Anyway, what i wanted to know is what brake pads do i order?
