alrite, so its taken a while, but i finally have the car back and running, licensed and everythings pretty much sweet.
all the fine tuning and real fun comes now.

so first off some background stuffs:

1975 260z 2+2 now fitted with a Y44 Nissan President 4.4L PushRod DD V8. engine was low-k jap import. gearbox is 3spd auto mated to suit.
ill put a more detailed list together when i can be bothered, and not fiddling round trying to kill time at work.

for now some pics, second 2 are courtesy of www.WAZREGISTER.com -where i stole them ^_^

Wikipedia says:
"TheY44 is a Pushrod V8, 16 valve, 4 barrel down draught carb engine. It produced 200 hp @4800 rpm and 343Nm @3200 rpm."

They also had an injected version. They were in production from 1973 to 1990, so HP might vary as production went on, as is usually the case.

Mr Camo's rite, mines in the latter section '85-'89 (last of these d/c from '90s on as to make way for the 4.5L which i think from memory is a VH45?? -im probs wrong but meh), was fuel injected - now carbified, been told they were pretty much 200hp accross the lot of em, just worked on fuel effieciency and torque improved (apparently?).

i gotta remember to post up all the details, ill try to do it tonite, but im so laaazy :/
