Well now that the forum is up agian, ill start a post on my nugget!

Its a 1975 260Z 2+2. I bought her for $88 regoed and running from the original owners son! The only thing that was really wrong with it was the RUST!!! Heaps and heaps of the stuff! If I were to 'properly' restore it... well i dont think i could :? So im dodgyly doing the job on the cheap! :lol: Killing the rust, cutting the bad stuff out and welding and bogging over!

It owes me about $620 atm. Paint is coming in soon at about $350 for colour(enamel), clear and some prier(4L of each). Im painting it Daytona Blue of the 350Z. Doing it all at home to save costs. I just want it so it doesnt attract so much attention from the bays in blue 8)

Just a bit of an update. The project has kinda slowed down alot after i bought the ute, but it'll still get done! nearly ready for a top-coat. Ive gotta get a new windscreen so i can take the old one out and paint the A pillars properly, that and the one in it is scratched and chipped

It must be accident damage repair because the front wing was like that too. under the bog its just slightly dented metal, but no rust! the bog is ontop of metal though, no paint behind it! Ive had to stip it all off anyways because i used paint stripper.

Another update. All primed now. Ive just gotta touch up everything and paint, then reasemble and you'll see it out on the roads again! This time just beter looking!

Nearly done, just gotta hunt down a B-pillar and get it put in(I cant weld) and paint that and the Left front&rear guard and reassemble. everything else is painted! Ill give it a couple more coats when its back together and then start driving it and sell the sunny!
