A few months ago (before I left for WA), I completed a couple of mods to the old Bus:

280ZX rear disc brakes:
http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/ ... 304.0.html

I also fitted a pair of front strut tops into the rear of it to lower the rear some more:
http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/ ... 334.0.html
FWIW, the front strut tops out of Zeds are about 1" lower then the rears out of late 260Z's.

A HD gearbox upgrade is now on the cards, as well as a Patrol 1" MC upgrade.

I didn't see this get posted... Sorry Guys.

Many... Many years ago I had (amongst other cars) a terminally rusty 1600 as (I'm ashamed to admit this) a paddock basher :?
Unfortunately one day I drove over some ruts in the paddock & the poor 16 cracked in half & jettisoned the rear suspension out the back of it at about 60kph
The old man & I couldn't believe how much rust was in it... It was the only thing holding it together.
It went to Sims a couple of days later :(
