Thats cool. I llive in Ch-Ch at the moment. Used to have a FJ powered 1600 in the mid-late 90's, its a great conversion. Still working on my 'new' 1600. Its a 3 owner blown-head-gasket L16 powered beast, just finishing the suspension/brakes at the moment, not sure on engine yet maybe a sr20de or ca18det, from an Atessa with RWD gbox. Just want something fairly mild and fun to drive regularly. I'd like to keep the factory EFI this time. Progress is slow lately though :( If you need any parts PM me, might be able to help out with something, don't see many 1600's here anymore just lots of skylines and toyota levins...

NO, but if you see the most trashed out 1200 ute thats my driver :) I did drive the 1600 'granny spec' for a while, cheesecutter tyres, the roar of the L16 and 1" dump pipe...

you didn't by any chance leave a note on my windscreen last year in the polytech carpark ( gold 1600 )?
I've seen a few 1200 utes around...most are pretty rugged.
lol...thats the next car I want to do up after my 1600...I love the shape of those utes :)
