Im converting my 1600 from manual to auto and wanted to know if its necessary to change the whole pedal box or can I just fit an auto brake pedal to my manual pedal box and remove the clutch pedal?
If I can just fit the auto pedal (prefer to do this than swap the whole pedal box) does anyone have an auto brake pedal I can have/buy?

In the 74 auto 180b (different maybe) the pedal box can swap between auto and manual just by swapping a couple of things and taking the plate that covers the whole for the master cylinder off. We have the original plate for clutch master hole and a brake pedal if 74 180b will fit. happy to post

Thanks for the reply mate, Im not sure if it will fit either but I've got my original brake pedal out so I can measure the length and the bolt diameter etc if you could measure yours if its not any trouble? We should be able to work it out pretty easily. Thanks again, Blayne.

Another bloke just told me that the auto 180b brake pedal will fit the 1600, so if you've got one for me i'll take it.

Blayne I'm pretty sure me or my brother has a auto pedal box from a 1600 if you want to swap the pedal and clutch lever for the auto one.
