in SA can we drive around in defected vehicles or it is only to a place of repair.??..

im looking at buyin a ke70 thats defected..

so yeh..

jst askin.. but i can avoid the cops and cover up the defect notice.. and i never hav been pulled over..

only to a place of repair in working hours eg mon-fri 8-5 or you could go to the cop shop tell em u have it all fixed they book u into an inspection and you can drive it anytime till the inspection

on that note, defections theoretically carry over from other states? i have a mate who bought a car in victoria, drove it back through s.a., got defected there and then lives in n.t.. he reckons it doesnt, but surely there is a national registery or something?
