hey guys i have a 1000 ute i just bought new carpet and underlay for. its a 2 piece. how do i attach both of them to the floor? also any 1 who knows 1000's they also have some vinyl that sorta goes up the firewall. how do i stick that down aswel? :/ thanx

Hey, When you put that sorta stuff in you wanna keep it from moving about to much, we use contact adhesive, which easily paints on to both surfaces and when they get tacky you stick them together

Use that contact adhesive for the vinyl too, you can buy it in spray cans which is ok for vinyl as it does go on thick with the brush

Make sure they get sticky first!

And put pics up... I have a 2 door wags i cant wait to get stuck into

only glue the edges and wack a strip down the tunnel

this lets the carpet mould overtime and settle

also avoids moisture soak in the contact adhesive and makes it easier to remove for a stereo install or whatever
