hey need to get a new windscreen for my 180bsss but the place i rang quoted me $400 ... is this usual. does anyone know where i could get a better deal.

Fark that heaps of Moulah for a screen, I paid $180 installed for mine from Natinal Windscreens.

You should not mention it's a SSS, just the fact that it is may make it more expensive than the 4dr sedan which has the same frame.

They operate in Vic not sure if they have locations in S.A.

well the windscreen itself shouldnt cost over $100, our supplier is instant windscreens, the installation is the killer, window moulding, (if needed) ureathane, and about 2-4 hrs labour depending on how it installed...

sorry mate, about 2 1/2hr north.

u got me curious now, tomorrow i'll enquire into the price we pay for a 180b windscreen.

sss windscreen are different from sedan windscreens, and they are inherently expensive
