my mate has just brought a 1600 rally car that we will be converting into a circuit/hillclimb car. what spring rates are recomended? i'm guessing 250-300lb for the front

I used to run 375lb fronts with 800lb rears in my 1600.

1100 rear.
But you must have the right shocks for the spring rates.

im running 275 in the front 1100 in the rear.
22mm adjustable front sway bar on the front
Still has a little too much understeer. Think it might be due to front bump steer though.

Feels stiff and corners level

I'm running 300 in the front and 250 in the rear on coilovers but i think the rear is too soft

mmm it is a blade adjustable bar and on the softest setting we still have understeer. The front has quite a lot of roll oversteer so it might be that.
What front camber is everyone running for 1600 track cars

250 front
around 1000 rear as they are a progressive rate but range from 800 to 1100 (sold by Toperformance).
