Seriously so pissed off. Got a 180B Brake Booster the other day.

And im thinking its the wrong one. done some research and apparently its a late model 180b Booster. With the 1 BIG Oil Resivor, instead of the 2 Small ones. Can anyone confirm this?

Also where can i buy 240K Master Cylinders from? And will it fit on to the 180B Booster i have? Grrr

Just wondering how to plump up the master cylinder? Also, is it possible to use a dual circuit master cylinder off something without using a booster?

I use a standard Datsun 7/8" master cylinder without a booster on my track car. Just a 240K one (from memory).

In combination with 240K front brakes / standard rear drums, it gives a good firm pedal, needs a fair shove with the boot but I find it gives better "feel" for track usage. If it were a daily, I'd probably go for a boosted master though.

That's what i have, sumitomo twin piston calipers up front and stock drums on the rear. I'm quite happy to exercise the legs while braking so i don't think i'll have a booster. Car is only a work hack but don't like the idea of a single res master.
