Hi all I know their is a cruise in September, however would anyone be interested in a cruise June Sat 26 or Sun 27? We have been lucky with good weather lately, if it rains a drift session could be good.

Any thoughts let me know.

Location Carpark corner of Doncater Road and High Street, Doncaster
(open to all suggestions).

Regards
Marcus

Never argue with an idiot, they'll drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

When I was back in Aus for 2 weeks, after the cruise we went on a drive down the ocean road and back up through the forrest. Anyhow 1/2 way through it started raining... drifting on public roads is a bit dodgey I reakon, specially in a large group. Just be careful if you guys go out, dont want to see anyone loosing it into a pole or tree.

Do any tracks let you out on them in the wet? I reakon that could be a heap of fun...

Sorry Guy's,

Didn't mean to offend, all welcome the more the merrier.

Just because its wet doesn't mean we can't go for a cruise or stand around and talk shop, just means we have to be a bit more careful on the throttle.

Marcus

if i can find the info sheet in the mess i call my room, there is a day cruise that i have been on before which traverses the dandenongs and comes out at water chatchments along the way. the meeting place for this is at the pits at albert park which is quite central i guess.

I can not make it along in my car (i am in need of a new clutch), but would still love to come along - possibly in an SR? (hint hint mick).

I also dont know about the drifting idea but certainly think we should all have a pre GOR cruise and this date seems cool for me. What do we all think.

tim

PS - i think all nis/dats are definately welcome to ozdat cruises. We usually also welcome other cars also if the drivers are decent and freindly.

I know I oh u a drive in the datto Tim, I'm sure I can take you along, The pit idea sounds good, drifting is a definately no no!!!, because there are other people on the road and all it takes is some one to over do it and we all r stuffed, so any disappointing driving or stupidity, I would be prepared to get kicked off the cruise, it is suppose to be a fun day, not a show off.

Marcus wat roads were u thinkin of using??,

I haven't planed a definite cruise route I wanted to see if anyone would be keen. I was thinking out past Eltham or lilydale/Warburton way.

I'm open to all suggestions.

What do you guys think?

I don't want any of us crashing and or getting booked, I just want one more cruise before I park the 1600 in the garage and head over to Europe.

I was wondering how your clutch was hanging on, James.
That's bad news, mate

datspeedy510, is that this Sunday the 27th (of June)?
If it is, then I can't come - got a hillclimb on. Bit short notice...
