hey everyone got my maddat strut brace the other day for my 120y and i have a question..aren't these meant to be quite a solid item? what i have is the bar with either end length adjustable which is fine but where the brace mounts to the brackets it is really loose. the brackets can move up and down and side to side very easily..should these be tight?

that might help

cheers

Two points:
1. Once fitted to the strut tops you tension the brace and it all firms up nicely.
2. It is not going to work too well lying on your carpet!

Yeah, you should fit it to your car and see how it feels then.

You need to lift the front wheels off the ground, tension the sway bar to 1/2 a turn tighter than tight.

drop the car down take it for a spin and it will firm up quite a bit :)
