Hi everyone, i have a very productive day at UPI Elizabeth today.


For the people that want to know there is a P610 in the yard, pretty much complete, and it has the full IRS setup.

Might be good for anyone with a conversion in the works.

I would have taken it for myself, but wrong time, wrong year.

There was also in the front a ZL16 engine, Ive never seen a ZL16 casted on the block before, but it may be decent for someone.

Also a few SSS Stanza heads!!



On a mini score for myself, i picked up a KA24de head and associated parts. Yes thats right a twin cam!! woot!!!

On comes my twin cam rally Z engine :cheers

Was an awesome price too :thumbsup:

mate zl if my late night reasearch pissed helped me i seem to remember z heads were not aus from memory or im thinking of lz not sure! thats sweet should let sssbee know

i did some research too after posting. seems the zl block is merely no different to that of the standard l block. It however did contain more emissions crap.

If it was a LZ block and head. Thats the jap twin cam headed unit. it wouldnt have lasted long. would have grabbed it well over the ka24de head.

Like i said though, i have never heard or seen of one, so i thought it may have been more special then it really was.

Pretty cool though, about 4 sss stanzas. w53 heads and such.

Was just wrapped to have seen a complete IRS setup. Would have taken that to try fitting it into a BB sedan for a track/rally car.

Also super wrapped to have gotten the ka24de head...boosted z block here i come =D

sssbee, is that a fj in your dp?

the stanza's came with a zl16,i used to have one.the heads have these grooves in 2 of the inlet ports for emmissions,every thing else looked the same as a L16

Pretty sure the w53 is pretty much the same as an a87 head yeah? Same compression I think?

Ah! not happy Jan, that P610 has been taken from the wreckers, as a whole =(

I wanted the con rods dammit!

Scored a S2bb electric dizzy though for $55.

One more piece for the track engine.
