Hey I'm back with an update, been slow going tho.

Cars been sanded to within an inch of it's life (all by hand and no one came to help :impatient: )

Primered, guide coated and blocked back to highlight all the imperfections. Attacked those with a
hammer and some bog.

High filled last weekend with some spots still in need of a shot of spray putty, but it's starting to come together.

Thanks guys,

Haven't done much, painted engine bay/bonnet for something to do. Cars been partially assembled as we've bought a house so where trying to organise our sh*t for when we move.

Have got the paint ready to go but it's to cold to paint now, will have to wait till the next painting season :(

Well my cars away waiting for new paint (10 weeks an counting) end of the month I've been told, but at least it's getting done in a booth now.

but in the mean time I've borrowed a set of rims off a mate's paddock basher and gave em some love.

Media blasted, polished and painted "railway black"

14 x 7's +-0'ish off set Cheviots

Also picked up this to ease the withdrawals.

Tropicana green base with (not pictured)green to gold color flip pearl.

so bored, but on the up side the house has never looked so good :D

Thanks mate,

Have just about got it all sorted and ready for rego, gave it a wash and polished the glass today.

So hard not to pull the springs and chop a couple coils off, really needs to be dropped on its guts :impatient:

it's looking great, some tyre shine is needed though! those tyres distract you from the wheels!
it will look even better when it's low!

glad you're not doing anything silly like putting an RB into it... the supercharged L will be awesome!

Well, the time has come to let the old coupe go.

I'm about to embark on a more "user friendly" Datto project as I'll probably hit something hard on my first track day and need to do a re-shell or at least replace a few bits along the way. Not so easy with a classic like this.

Anyway, this needs to go to make way for a new toy, so let the games begin
