OK OK it's been quiet yes.
I am going to take some new photo's of it this weekend, nothing too outlandish has been done, just a couple things.
Lowered the rear maybe 1/2 -1", simple leaf flip.
replaced front shocks and control arm bushes, which by the looks were the originals.
took the manifolds off, and pulled out the stupid heater flap thingy. It made a bad hole and leaked bad, so i took it out. Now it goes pretty damn good and hard. I just need to rectify the exhaust pipe, and it shall be silent once more.
Have been trying to track down exctractors, but it's limited.
Added some gauges for water temp and oil pres, just to keep it real.

I tink thats it. Money is limited for now, but the carpet is next, as is the outside paint job, which i think the girls have chosen morpheous purple, :blahblah:

hey mate can i ask a favor ??

can you take a photo of the 120y and XB side by side at a few different angles please.

I find that the 120y sedan is very XA/XB ish in styling which i have been debating with friends for some time.

if you could that would be great as i havent had the opportunity to get the two cars together like this before !!

cheers

for sure, its on the to do list. the tc-tc cortina's are very xb shape, one reason why my wife loved the xb, as her 1st car was a corty, and another why she said yes to the 120y.
the 120y would prob be the closest datto shape to an xb.

255553 k. i dunno how many rounds it's done. but everything is still original so far, ie shocks suspension, engine etc. the engine wasn't lookedd after due to the sludge that was in it when we rebuilt it.
