Whats the point doing a wheel alignment if they dont know what theyre setting it to?
Go to another wheel alignment shop.
Try "Road Style Tyre & Battery" in Lonsdale.

What wheel offset are you running?
Do you have bump steer spacers?
Whats the draglink ball joint condition like?
Whats the outer tierod end ball joint condition like?

Are you sure that the track rod rubbers are in good condition? Your description of the handling is just what occurs with shot track rod rubber bushes.

If they are good, my guess is the lowered springs are causing it to bump steer, if all the joints are firm. If the radius arms are horizontal or rising to the outer points, you will have bump steer. No amount of adjustment will remove it. You will need to lower the outer pivot point, or raise the inner one to improve it.

I'd try adding bump steer spacers. Check improvement.
If no improvement and steering feels sloppy at all, i'd replace all steering linkage components (draglink, inner and outer tierod ends) and get a proper wheel alignment done.
That should fix it...

Try jacking up the frond end and checking the inner lower control arm bushes. My VL was doing the same thing, i had 4 different wheel allignments and none of them noticed they were warn ( they only checked the right side bush and assumed the left was ok) you have to try to pulling/pushing in different parts of the wheel. there was only one position i noticed it and it then had around 15mm of movement.
