Hi guys, just a quick update.

I've spent the last few months doing other projects and It looks like the poor 280c will be sitting around for another couple of years.

I did get it running and take it for a drive though. As usual it started first time but by the time I got to the end of my road the gearbox had lost all drive, luckily it was downhill all the way home! Everything else worked fine though and once the box had cooled down I got gears back again.

Can't afford any bits for it right now, but when things get moving I'll update.

still need to do exhaust, but trying to find some extractors so i can do whole thing for when i do the EFi conversion.
very smokey too, but that could be cause of the old oil (have new oil and filter ready). will suss the brakes over the next month as HB dont work and would like new brakes just to be sure!
Unfortunately i have several cars that need att. namely a R31 coupe that is missing badly and a Dodge phoenix that needs...well.. a lot (cool cruiser tho!) and i just resprayed my daily (MR30 sedan) for when i get the cedric ready for rego i can then sell the 30 and put more into it.
but i will be keeping the ceddy as i want a luxo-barge with comfort as a daily (dodge costs too much for daily duties!).
but i've seen some of the other members Cedrics, and they have given me some inspiration!
it still needs all those little bits of trim and a straight rear bumper would be nice! so any info on parts is appreciated!

cheers dodgey.

Hey! :P

That car scrubs up really well.

Get into it mate, too few of these machines left on our roads.....

All the best with your new project.

This was in a local wreckers (a long way from WA!) early last year.

Not sure if it's still there.
