I got the auto carpet for my auto shell.

Wasn't very impressed with the fit. I was expecting I could just throw it in and it would be snug as a bug around all the gearbox areas. Still, having the 1600 as a daily, wont be long until I'll be replacing it :P

If you have a manual 1600, but have, say, an SR20 5spd with a new hole cut in the trans tunnel and a Datsport trans hole cover, is it best to order the auto version to compensate for the Datsport cover?

i have a carpet coming from the US, it's not moulded like most here in oz... should see it this week, at latest next week, comes with underlay attached.
will let you know how it fits. the moulded carpets never really fitted as well as I'd like, so thought I would try something different.

I would be interested to know how that fits. I have looked at carpet from the states before but the drivers side vinyl pad has always been on the wrong side. Did you get a RHD version?
