Get it soda blasted mate to thin for sand unless its reused sand even then dodgey unless the person is highly experienced and after effects of sand blasting is the car will start to rust almost straight away where soda leaves a coating so it can sit for a bit in bare metal. The guy in the shed next door to me does soda blasting but we are a few hours up the road in Armidale Northern NSW.

Imperial Blasting @ Beresfield have a good reputation. I've never personally had anything done there, but have heard good things about them from others.

I've heard some good things about there too. I think Dad has a mate who works there or some link.

That's where he plans to take his Monaro.

I had my datsun 1600 done just recently and i had all the outter panels done with soda and the door jams, interior, boot, engine bay sand blasted, the shell was on a rotisserie, it was all done it in stages.. first the shell, then the doors, then the boot bonnet. this gave me the chance to spend a bit of time priming them before the rust starts.. all up $1400

with sand blasting you should get paint on it with in 3hours of blasting.. soda theres no real hurry but dont let it get wet and i'd suggest giving the soda blasted panels a buzz with the sander before you prime..

the sand gets everywhere!! it took me about 4 hours to get all the sand out of all the tight spots of the shell.. and it was on a rotisserie.. what a pain but its worth it.. looks sweet!

good luck.
