Howdy all,

In a turbo car is it ok to hook the vac hose for the brake booster up to the inlet manifold (boosted) or do i need to hook it up to the piping between the air filter and turbo inlet (unboosted)

Cheers

The brake booster actually requires a VACUUM source.
Any appropriate size nipple on the inlet manifold is fine.
As an added feature you might want to fit a one way valve in the hose but some boosters have one fitted at the tank connection already.

Should definately have one, if not and the engine backfires etc it can shoot up the line and screw up the booster.
They arent expensive
