 Post subject: Datsun 720 Dual Cab.

hey everyone,

i'm new to the forum's so i though i'd share my datsun 720 dual cab, owned it for 2 year's now all original except the wheel's and tyre's i have deep dish sunraisers with stretched out track tyre's (re01's) and have many plan's in store for this lovely ute of mine.

hope you like, i have not seen another one in perth so i want to know how many people have this type it's a 4cyl diesel (SD23), 5 speed manual.

yeah mate no worrie's here you are, sorry about the quality i havn't degreased the engine in a while the ute's been garaged for over a year now.

Used to have a single cab diesel where i worked ,got a bit of a flogging.
Just keep the fresh oil up to it as the sd motors have a habit of breaking the cranks and cam shafts.
I actually snapped the end of the cam off on the one we had,so we put a SD25 in it.
The one we had was a 5 speed column shift, but the linkages were that flogged out that 5th gear was about half an inch into the dash.

i havn't had any problem's with mine at all so far, still got all the original purchase document's and all, this one has been looked after pretty well in it's life. I eventually want to put a different motor in when the time's right.
