The day a Datsun is an investment is the day two friends who are long term datto lovers sell up and buy clio sports.

Wait.

Did that just happen?

Caveat Emptor??

It pisses me off completely to see this 'someone' on ebay comment like that AFTER they have bought the car. They knew what the specs were, they knew what the car had, otherwise they wouldn't have bought it (unless it was sight unseen and then they deserve it all.)

Totally agree. It was probably bought by someone who thought their V6 Commodore was really quick.

Tyrie was honest about the cars history in the previous for sale ad. Still surprises me that people who buy 40 year old modified cars don't think they are going to need work/maintenance.

No ones car is perfect in the next persons eyes, i guarantee that if anyone here buys a car that is so thoroughly modded, there will be things that they dont like, even now when someone buys it again, there will be things that they want change or think that should be changed for safety etc

But openly bagging the previous owner might seem a little excessive, however i dont know how tyrie modded his car, but he sure did drive it!

Spotted in my main street last night. Didn't get a chance to see who owned it or speak to him. I would like to find out.
