Hard to say - you don't see them too often, but there is probably a fairly limited number of people who would pay much for them. It would be nice to see it saved if you could find the right person.

They are supposedly more like a little truck, rather than a big ute (if that makes sense).

The engine alone may be worth something to the right person, it's the same 1900 as used in some early Cedric's and the crank can be used as a "stroker" crank in some of the early Datsun Fairlady 3-main bearing engines.

Its an N40 (model variant)
1962 onwards, has a 'H-series' engine, a small version of the H20 kinda thing.
Shares alot of parts with the C31 Cedric (although the cedric engine had better compression)

I have seen ONE ever, done up as a 'rat-rod' tow truck. Was very cool

Would certainly make a cool project. Reminds me of an early toyota stout i saw all done up. It may not have a huge value but it would still look awesome all done up and be a very rare piece.

hi i will be after all bushes for the suspension and depending on the engines compression a full recon kit for it,all new brake parts, shocks, with the h20 engine is there a way of telling weather the engine is a 3 main crank bearing or five main crank bearing engine just by looking at it or do u need to pull it down to realy see?

its going back to a bare cab, quoted $700 to sand blast it,then its cut and weld, engine sounds like it only needs a water pump but it dosent get hot,the radiator has a slight leak in the top tank but not in the core, drove it around my land and all the mechnics work except the brakes,as for cost its an airlume,iv been searching for new parts but it seems like the homer has the bits i need, the junior dosent seem to have any parts avalibul,

Great truck! Save it! i have lots of picks of the fire truck version in Japan from when i was last there.
We got the Cedric 31 in Canada(i have one of 3 left), but not the truck...We also got the Sunny b10- no fastbacks or wagons, just sedans. We got ute FJ40's , patrol SWB g60's, datsun 222, 320, 520, 521's as well. I recently found a 1962 nissan transit bus i'm trying to save lol.
