Hey all, thought I would add my ride to these forums as I have browsed for ages and not contributed :P

Its a nissan series 3 bluebird. Inherited from my late grandfather, one owner. I'm in the process of restoring and bringing it back to a jdm sss version lookalike.. slowly but surely.

coming in the next few (dozen) months.
sss honeycomb grille
fender mirrors
series 1 lights
dumped on ass
new painjob
gold meshies on its feet

As it stands its a stocker, with the crappy ca20, I plan to swap in a sr or ca18 when im happy with the look of the thing.

Anyway, here it is, Im currently in the phase of making sure the car is a solid base to mod on, carpet, stereo, dash.. etc etc. Its not much of a looker, but its mine and I love it :) pics very related.

Amazing how much the wheels change the look of the car. It looks like a really good project car in really good shape. Good luck!

Looks similar to one I had years ago. Bar the massive damage mine had. I take it the picture in your signature is the look you're going for? Where abouts in Victoria are you?

thanks for letting us know, I have decided that I want to get hold of an sss honeycomb grille before i commit to the rest, because for me, thats the clincher, im trying to get one from aus, not so easy.

One of the good folks at aussiebluebirds.com pointed me in the right direction of a yahoo japan item but not sure if its worth it :P will be nice to have a jdm looking series 1/2 mockie, i have a picture in my head in relation to colours, rims, camber etc etc. just need to make a start..

got a set of king spring 'lows' and a set of monroe gt's that will be going in next week, should put it down about 3cm, I would have gone the way of coilovers but i picked up the aforementioned set for next to nothing.

a re-spray is on the cards as well.. will send it off to get done while the engine is out, during the swap, get the rocker cover done as well.
