I know 1600 & 180B swaybars are interchangable, with 1600s having an 18mm bar stock and 180Bs a 19mm bar, from (unreliable, alcohol fogged) memory.

If they look identical, try holding the 200B bar up against the one in your car. As long as the width is the same and it goes in the mounts (note: according to an old catalog I have the chassis mounts are different so you'll probably need to get the right insulators to suit the bar to your car) it'll work.

Another way to check is to see if another swaybar manufacturer has an online catalog or ring Pedders. If you lived near me you could just come over and compare it with one of my spares.

Cheers.

If I remember, I can check tonight as I have both in the shed.

As mentioned above, 1600 and 180B are interchangeable, but I don't believe 200B will fit a 180B as the front ends are different designs (could be wrong though)

A 180B SSS bar is slightly thicker than 180B and 1600 ones as well, for a cheap upgrade (assuming you can find one).

If a 200B swaybar fits in a 180B then an R31 swaybar will fit too, and those are even thicker.

Finally remembered to go down the shed, and the verdict is -

inconclusive

The general shape and almost all measurements of the 200B swaybar looks the same as a 180B one. The only difference I could see by the naked eye is that the 200B one is wider by about 2 inches between the mounting holes in the very ends of the bar.

The 200B one I have has seen better days though, its taken a hit at some time and is a little worse for wear (slightly bent), so I'm not sure if the extra 2" is due to it being out of shape or whether there is a difference between the two.

Handy to know if there really is a difference as I needed a front sweaybar that was slightly wider when I fitted lengthened lower control arms to my 1600. I ended up making some "spacers" to get the 1600 swaybar to line up onto the lengthened LCA's.

Kmac has a listing saying 180b and 200b are the same. Anyone used K mac sway bars? quite affordable.

If they are the same then you have even cheaper options. s13 or r31 both fit in a 200B.

I have a 200B bar in the shed if you want to try it out or if you like i can take some measurements?

I'll try my 31 whiteline bar then while it's off, just read somewhere someone saying that they were different between 180b and 200b.

if the 31 whiteline bar is a 27mm it will be tough to fit it but you should be able to get a pretty good idea of where the mounts will be
