 Post subject: Strut tops 180b

Hey guys I sold my stock struts to a guy today and then realised my 180b coilovers have no hats.. sigh! Do S13 ones fit?

s13 strut tops are 2 bolt ones. so you need either adapter plates or the right tops like what maddat sell.
what coilovers are they out of?

Incorrect. The S13 tops are 3 bolt and will bolt in.

Cheers I'm trying to find some fubarred s13 coilovers to knick the springs retainers and hats off. The struts are 180b 2"shortened and sleeved though the old owner of them welded a bottom hat to the lock ring to retain stock style springs. I'm not so keen myself.

Has anyone fitted coil overs to the rear of these? I bought some HKS coilovers yesterday absolutely on the cheap from my 31 tuning bloke. He said he had s13's in the front and rear of his 910 bluebird same same? He just drill the two holes in the top bolt them in wind them down. Are the strut top being not spring over shock from factory strong enough to take all that sprung weight?
