hi guys i thought i would start a build thread for my 1600 that i have had for about 3-4 years.

didn't look to bad (apart from the sh*t cooler and big wheels) BUT as with most old cars the wiring was so bogy it court fire within 1 month of buying it  so first of was a re wire and re build the break booster that was shaged.
it did have a bit going for it l20 with flat top pistons, massive cam, 32/36 weber, 280zx gear, r180 diff, 240k struts and breaks.
The l20b has had the head replaced with a ported w53, stranded sss cam, twin su's that were promptly followed by twin dellortos and an s2 dizzy.
after a few years driving it as a daily she has been pulled of the road for a rebuild.
the windows were left in right to the end because of the sh*t wether as it was all unfortunately done outside  but still turned put ok :P

Looks great man, chuck up some pics of your cooler setup. With the 400x300 coolers, just shows how much of a better fit they are with that extra 50mm less.
